List of online and offline Electronic Circuit Simulators

List of Circuit Simulators

DCACLAB

The DCACLab is an online circuit simulator one of its kind which provides the lab like interface to its users. The users can shift between the lab interface and the simulator as per their convenience and can save as well as share their experiment and project with others.

Partsim

PartSim provides a generic simulator interface which includes a full SPICE simulation engine, web-based schematic capture tool, and a graphical waveform viewer. PartSim includes an integrated Bill-Of-Materials manager that lets you assign Arrow Part Numbers to your models.

KiCad

KiCad is very easy to use and has a huge support in the open source hardware community. KiCad is available for different platforms like Windows, Mac and Linux. KiCad has an integrated environment for schematic entry (Eeschema) and PCB design (Pcbnew) along with some tools like 3D visualization of PCB, bill of materials and Gerber file generation.

Check out the list of best free pcb design software which helps you to design the circuit more effectively.

Making Light Sensor with the help of Wheatstone Bridge

The wheatstone bridge is the circuit introduced early for the purpose of measuring an unknown resistance. The resistance is measured by finding the balance point when there is no flow of current in between the two edges.

How Light Sensor works

The same circuit can be used to measure the light. In the application one of the edges consist of two known resistance and other edge consist of a Light dependent Resistor and a variable resistor. The Photoresistance does have certain certain value at a certain intensity of light which means at a certain amount of light the null condition is found.
